The Northwoods surrounding the Bayfield Peninsula are some of the most productive wild foraging grounds in the upper Midwest. We forage these trails personally — chanterelles, hen of the woods, chicken of the woods, lion's mane — and a close friend and local expert offers guided foraging tours for visitors of all experience levels, from complete beginners to experienced foragers who just want to learn the specific terrain.
